There are daily express buses from Yangon to Dawei. This pagoda is believed to have been built over 600 years ago and is located a few kilometers south of Dawei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Shwe&nbsp;Tha&nbsp;Lyaung<\/em> <em>Daw&nbsp;Mu&nbsp;<\/em>buddha statue (74m long and 21m high) is situated at the edge of Dawei and is about 5 km from the central Strand Road market.  It was completed in 1931.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Maung&nbsp;Ma&nbsp;Kan&nbsp;Beach<\/em> is situated in a beautiful setting of hills that rise up from the shoreline and 19 km from the Dawei city.
